Einurd was founded in 2010 and is organization involved in adult education and community development. The organization employs experts in management, research, education and training.
Einurd business and operation include: consulting, research, surveys, development of educational resources, equal pay auditing and validation of informal learning, development of curriculums and training models both face to face and distributed or e-learning,including projects i.a.:
1. Project management for the ”Education now” initiative in focusing on increasing education levels,enhance skills accreditation and vocational training in the Breiðholt disadvantaged neighborhood in Reykjavik,2013-2015
2. Partner in the FIERE project, involving training for innovation and entrepreneurship, 2014 2016, part of the project included reaching out and organize a workshop for women entrepreneurs
3. Coordination of pilot training in the INTERFACE project, training community coaches in fragile communities in Iceland as well as coordinating such training within the partnership,2017-2019Remainingdescription-point Justification for the selection of participating institution Stefanía G.Kristinsdóttir is the chairman of the board and Einurd founder.She was the managing director of The East Iceland Knowledge Network (08.2007 to 09.2011) responsible for lifelong learning,university education and research in East Iceland.
